After a 25 year absence, the BIGBLOCK EP is back! A recent archeological dig under Paolo's stairs revealed a box of about 50 pristine cassettes without artwork! We also unearthed the original photos and slapped together a new, updated J-Card.
The Bigblock EP was a DIY release recorded in the summer of 1998 on a Tascam reel-to-reel 8-track. The tape features demo versions of 7 songs that ended up on the Sweetspot LP recorded the following year. One tidbit of interest… 4 of the 7 songs found on Bigblock were actually deleted from the 2023 remaster / vinyl pressing of SS. A lot of folks who bought both releases said they preferred some of the Bigblock versions to Sweetspot. Order one of these ultra-rare beauties and you be the judge!
In keeping with our steadfast denial of our existence prior to 1999, This release will NOT be appearing on streaming platforms. If you want to hear it, it's cassette, bootleg or nothing! :)
